YAAP is a Youth Led non-profit, non-governmental national organization (NNGO) established in 2017 by a group of dedicated South Sudanese Youth in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State of South Sudan. The organization was founded with the objective of fostering a poverty free society, one that is socially and economically self-Reliance and aware of fundamental human rights. We collaborate with government stakeholders, UN agencies and other humanitarian aid and development actors to provide most urgent needs in Food Security & Livelihoods, Education, Water & Sanitation Hygiene (WASH), Youth Empowerment and Peace Building. We currently operate in Aweil town of Northern Bahr El Ghazal state which serves as our main headquarters with operational presence in Twic County of Warrap State and Jam-Jang County Ruweng Administrative Area.
Our Mission
YAAP works to assist the neediest and most neglected Youth across South Sudan and actively engage them as agent of change in their communities to alleviate poverty in all forms.
